COAL POWER CALCULATOR
Electricity / heat emission intensity
Dimensionally corrected intensity: t CO2 × 1000 / MWh = g CO2/kWh; t CO2 / TJ = g CO2/MJ. Corrects inconsistent CHP scale factors in the original workbook.

Method & source
generation_intensity = electricity_tCO2 × 1000 / generated_MWh; supply_intensity = electricity_tCO2 × 1000 / supplied_MWh; heat_intensity = heat_tCO2 / heat_TJ
Unit correction: t CO2 × 1000 / MWh gives g CO2/kWh; t CO2 / TJ gives g CO2/MJ. This corrects the inconsistent CHP multipliers in the source summary. Zero-output metrics are unavailable, not zero.
